Virtue Questions!!!!!!!!!

I have a lot of questions, but i only have time for 1. What greater good was Jesus sacrificing for when He said no to the devil when He was tempted?
PLEEZE HELP!!!!!!!!!

martha--mr buresch tried to explain the answer to you!!! i'll try to see if i can explain it but i think it will be to no avail. . . if jesus had given into temptation by satan, then 1st he wouldn't have been able to do everything that he did for us. 2nd, well i kinda came up with this one, he wouldn't have set the example that he was trying to set for us--going against hypocrisy and staying true to your beliefs. just ask mr buresch again tomorrow in school and remember--DEEP BREATHS!!

haha, good job, emily. tart, u can do them out of order so skip this one and come back to it. and, tart, if Jesus had given into temptation, then no one would believe he was the son of God because God is perfect so then Jesus couldn't be God's son if he gave in to Satan. and calm down!!!

And... If Jesus had given into the temptation, then he would have sinned. And if he had sinned then we wouldn't and couldn't be saved. I think i just answered the wrong question... o well
