virtue project and chinese symbols???!!!!

ok guys . . . pllease don't take my idea but i'm looking up chinese symbols in addition to the flowers for each virtue. (i'm going to do paintings into my journal of the flowers and the symbols.) there are two symbols for faith but one is faith as in the belief and the other is faith as in trust. but the virtue could go either way couldn't it? i need some help!!! which one should i go with?
